AcVx-25 is a novel TOPICAL therapeutic for the treatment of Acne Vulgaris, presently in phase IIb clinicals. PI/IIa (n=12) and PIIb (n=30) studies have demonstrated a high safety, ease of use, faster onset of effect and greater reduction in clinical acne score than market-leading topical Differin (adalapene). The active agent has a well-known safety profile with very low toxicity. The newly identified mechanism of action constitutes a unique approach to acne therapy. It is a low cost topical, highly stable, and easy to manufacture.
The development plan includes a rapid clinical development and completion of IND and phase II within 22-24 mo. including regulatory approvals.
Efficacy/comparative studies (vs. treinoin) to date have shown a high efficacy beyond any topical competitor performance and a low incidence of side effects.
Endo-Rythm
Endo-Rhythm is developing novel Active Diet Management system based on body biological rhythm synchronization concept. The new system is oriented for professional and consumers market enabling more effective diet and wellness management. The company has developed a prototype that is undergoing clinical validation. The new product is expected to be launched in 2008.
The company was founded in 2007 with a Seed investment by NRVision ventures.
